How are you all? I hope that by the grace of Almighty Allah, you are all well. Alhamdulillah, I am also very well. Today I am here with the second part of the Bangladesh Military Museum tour. In this part, I am going to show you the items displayed on the ground floor of the museum.
After checking in at the main gate, I entered the museum and went to the corner on my right, because I wanted to show you every item in the museum, so I took pictures from one end of the museum to the other, so I took pictures from the right to the end of the left. At the beginning of the right, there was a design made on the wall, where different pieces of steel were arranged in a specific pattern, indicating the people who carried weapons during the Liberation War.
On the wall next to the figure made of steel, a video of the Bangladesh Military was on a digital screen. Where five soldiers dressed in the uniform of the Bangladesh Army were telling various important and inspiring stories to inspire people with patriotism.
Then I am going to show you four cannons from the 18th century. These were used during the Sepoy Mutiny. Out of the four cannons, two were collected from the Station Headquarters, Chittagong and the other two from the Station Headquarters, Comilla. And the inscriptions on them indicate that they were made during the Mughal period.
Now I am going to show you a design of one of the ships used during the Mughal period. The name of the chief sailor of these large ships used during the Mughal period was Sarang. And, therefore, these designs are named Sarang according to that name.
Everyone is more or less aware of the Battle of Plassey in Bengal. And, now I am going to show you the 2 cannons used in the famous Battle of Plassey, which were used by the British East India Company in the Battle of Plassey. The two cannons were gifted by the Indian military to the Bangladesh army for display.
Now I am going to show you a design made about the place where the Battle of Plassey took place and the positions of the armies of the two sides. In the design, you can see two armies in red and blue, one of which is the English army and the other is that of the last independent Nawab of Bengal, Siraj-ud-Dollar, and both armies were positioned on the banks of the Bhagirathi river in the plains of Plassey.

Now I am going to show you a chart related to the Bangladesh Liberation War in 1971, which mentions almost all the important activities from the beginning to the end of the Bangladesh Liberation War. Such as the formation of the first government of Bangladesh, and their contributions to the Liberation War. In addition, the contributions of the army, air force, and navy to the Liberation War are also mentioned.
Then I am going to present to you about the various forts built on Ballar soil during the Mughal period during the period of different Subedars. Here I am going to show you four charts about four forts which are 1. Sonakanda Fort, 2. Idrakpur Fort, 3. Hajiganj Fort, 4. Lalbagh Fort. The forts are quite a sight to see in Bangladesh.
Then I am going to show you the various types of guns, pistols, knives and other weapons used in war in the old era of Bengal. Looking at the design and pattern of these weapons, they looked exactly like the ones seen in the movies of the ancient era. Which were used during the Mughal period or the British period.
