A few weeks ago, the Saidpur Small and Cottage Industries Fair was held in Saidpur, which is the nearest city to our town. This fair looks especially attractive at night with all its colorful lights and vibrant atmosphere. Previously, I shared some details about the food stalls and rides that I explored at the fair. Today, I want to share something different, a look at the various shops that were set up in this event.

The shops in the fair were located very close to each other, which made visiting them time-saving and easily accessible. There were different kinds of shops at the fair; kids’ toys, dolls, homeware, wall mats, jewelry, clothes, plastic goods, and even electronics.

I didn’t buy any products from the fair, but I really liked the variety of items and stores available. The shops were nicely crowded, and people were moving around, exploring, and trying to find their favorite products for themselves or for their loved ones.

Some stores were quite large. I even found a big homeware shop in the fair that had a wide range of household items. Some shops were selling products at fixed prices with no chance for bargaining, as the prices were already written on the products. On the other hand, a few stalls allowed customers to bargain, which made the experience even more interesting.

I think people enjoy buying from shops where they can negotiate the price, as it adds excitement to the shopping experience. The prices in the fair seemed a bit higher compared to outside shops, which is understandable because stall owners have to pay a decent fee to set up their shops inside the fair.

Some products were traditional, adding an extra touch of beauty and elegance to the fair. You won’t find all these products together in one place anywhere else. This is the true specialty of a fair, where tradition and joy come together. Even though there was no particular festival, the lively environment, the colorful setup, and the cheerful crowd made it feel just like a festive celebration

Overall, the variety of shops made the fair more engaging and enjoyable for visitors. The entire fair looked magical under the night lights. I think everyone would enjoy strolling through the stalls with their family, kids, and friends. And if you ever get tired, you can take a break near the stage where live concerts are held.
