Contest: Travel tales #02

My favourite travel route was and will remain train. It is one of the affordable for many people, especially when there are few kids in family then train is better than plane.
Do you know the reason? I can give you my opinion:
when you travel with plane then you have to come to airport about 2 hours before departure and it is with little children really difficult. While after check in you have to wait and stay in one area and that is for children very boring. They will become noisy and annoyed
when you take train, then you come shortly before departure. Children are able to move freely and also if there is a restaurant then children can visit it with parents and have proper food. Often if the trip is long than there is sleeping wagon so that children can also have this type of experience
From my first experience being on train, I can say that my mother always had some food with such as vegetables, some nice sausage, of course, sweets and some drinks. In such train there was tea and coffee service and I loved hot tea with some sugar. Also we always had sleeping wagon.
The other thing that I loved is once we are on train we always checked if there are some other kids and of course, we got friends, we chatted, were visiting their places and our places but also we loved to listen he stories of other passengers. The funny thing was that after such journey I had a feeling that I made new friends but often such friendship was very short just for the length of the journey. Despite of that I still think that travelling with train is the best transport for such a long distance.
