Travel Tip: Libochovice Chateau, architectural jewel popular with filmmakers

Welcome to my Travel Tip series where I promote some of the most beautiful places, interesting landmarks and impressive architectural sites of my homeland, the Czech Republic.
Today, I will show you another astonishing chateau of my country, the renowned Libochovice Chateau.

Located in the little town of the same name (Libochovice), just a short drive from Prague, the Libochovice Chateau is a monumental Baroque chateau that was built between 1682 and 1683.
Listed as one of the National Cultural Monument of the Czech Republic, the chateau is surrounded by a beautiful, vast French-style park that resembles that of Versailles, France.

The impressive appearance of the Libochovice Chateau and its breathtaking natural surroundings made it a very popular tourist attraction of the area. However, the chateau is also sought after by filmmakers from all over the world. The chateau has been fetaured in many movies, including the famous American TV series Twelve Monkeys and the German documentary Ottilia von Faber. Apple also used this location as the setting for one of their iPhone7 commercials.

Hello Thomas, Libochovice Chateau is a amazing architecture indeed astonishing chateau in Czech. This is a great history.
Yep..It mean this wanna need to protect for future generation. It is surrounded by a very attractive and natural environment. The Lake Taurus adds a big value to the Chateau. It seems that this is a very creative development.
Yep, it sure is yet another great location to visit when spending more time in the Czech Republic
As I was reading more about the Libochovice Chateau I came across czechtourism.com. I found that that this was one of Bohemia's earliest Baroque buildings. If that in itself wan't a big enough honor, I found that it is also home to several culturally relevant historic items from the East. The website didn't mention the details on these items to I looked further in the internet and found an amazing array of items.
Japanese Swords, Chinese and Imari Japanese vases.... and things like that. The Library of the Chateau is also particularly rich in taste and has a voluminous collection of books.
This was a great travel tip to share man! Probably would take a whole day if one were to explore this marvelous place to some extent.
