The Tron Fan Club is a specialized community working on some specific topics. As a moderator of the community, I am regularly sharing several tutorials to help newbies. In this series of tutorials, I am trying to share the fundamental topics of Steem blockchain.

Welcome to the 33rd tutorial in my series on Steemit and the Steem blockchain. So far, I have shared six tutorial packages. Each package focused on an important topic. These include account security, markdown styling, reputation, voting power, and reward distribution. Now, I am on the 7th package. This package will discuss harmful activities on Steemit. It will help users understand and avoid these issues. In this tutorial, I will explain abusing and spinning in detail. I will share examples and tips to avoid it. This will help you stay safe and follow ethical practices on Steemit.
Abuse and spinning are harmful to the Steemit community. These actions lower trust and content quality. Let us learn more about these issues.

What is Abuse?

Abuse on Steemit includes actions that harm others or the platform. Examples are:

• Posting hate speech or offensive content.
• Using bots to manipulate votes.
• Using unusual content repeated times without significant meaning.
• Meaningless content for reward farming.
• Similar content with slight modification.
• Harassing users through comments.

Abuse damages the community’s reputation. It also discourages new users from joining.

What is Spinning?

Spinning means rewriting content to make it look original. Spinners use tools to change words but keep the same meaning. For example:

• Original: "The sky is blue."
• Spun: "The color of the sky is blue."

Spinning is unethical. It does not add value. Spun content can lead to penalties.

How to Avoid Abuse and Spinning

1. Respect others on the platform.
2. Do not use tools to rewrite articles.
3. Create genuine and original posts.
4. Report abusive users to moderators.

What to Do If You Face Abuse

1. Block the abusive user.
2. Report the abuse to Steemit’s support team.
3. Avoid engaging with the abuser.

Abuse and spinning harm Steemit’s community. Always focus on creating positive and useful content. Treat others with respect. We all should be aware of such abuse and spinning mentioned today then together, we can build a better steem platform.
