RE: Trump Is A Fascist, Isn't He? That's What Everyone Is Saying.
Once again, agreed. I became the peacemaking middlewoman between friends and family this election, it was ludicrous. I had to shut down facebook, I couldn't stand another second of watching the true agenda work it's black magic, the agenda to turn people on each other. The debates were a travesty, all they did was create anger, hatred, and division, by beating the racist, homophobic, etc. horse to death, and it was intentional as far as I'm concerned. And I'm no fan of Rand, he is not his dad at all.
It is mostly painful to watch, but I'm trying to see the comedy in it. People get so wound up over these cartoon characters who don't matter a whit in the scheme of the real. The whole campaign season was like watching a play, like one that I'd already read. It seemed the only thing to do was to use the circumstance to point out the learning possibilities in the moment. I'm not sure that accomplished much. It appears that most people enjoy playing the parts they are handed, without question.
Yeah, I think that is the one thing that would keep me in steemit almost no matter what, I've met more people here who understand exactly that point of view than anywhere else by far.
Agreed, I don't know a single person in meatspace who spends more than a minute a week thinking about the real. The stress appears to be too much, then they are off on their next attempt at diversion to relax, which they never seem to actually accomplish, and the more they divert, the less they seem to be able to handle thinking about it.
Personally , I'd be more stressed not knowing, living with constant dread of the unknown and unseen in my heart.
