Democrats Don't Want To Admit That Trump's Economy Is Doing Well
The initial release of GDP growth statistics clearly shocked the markets, as the "growth" figures had dropped by minuscule percentages. At that time, Democrats were loudly predicting a "recession," and I believe they actively desired one. However, with inflation now stable below 3% and GDP growth approaching 4%, Democrats have become notably quiet.
Reluctant to give Donald Trump an economic "win," the Democratic focus has shifted entirely to promoting protests and other actions that destabilize large economies, particularly major cities that have allowed these demonstrations to continue. Instead of addressing economic issues—a primary concern for the average citizen—they continue to repeat the rhetoric that "Trump is a fascist." Their desperate attempt to shift the goalposts is humorous; if the economy performs well, their only fallback is fear-mongering about dictatorial power.
At this point, their actions seem aimed not at supporting the American people, but at defending their own political power.
