Igo is totally making this shyt up as we go along. We really don’t care what shape the Earth is. Peoples’ opinions on this topic don’t keep us up at night. We have been programmed (that’s just another way of saying we’ve been “taught”) to believe that the planet is a globe. If We’d been programmed, just a little bit, to believe the Earth is flat, we might better comprehend that side.

The “science” on the flat Earth side seems to support that hypothesis, while the opposite is true. The Vessel Brain cannot fathom a spinning disc with a dome over it. Igo keeps imagining digging right through. Is there a dome beneath the Earth as well?

If you believe that we all live in a simulation, then the shape of the Earth is moot, because yours might be flat and mine can be round.

The purpose of today’s episode is to imagine how the Earth came to be accepted as a globe in ancient times, presumably before anyone could travel far enough away from the “sphere” to have a look at it.

That’s what we’ve got going on today. The intro is pretty hot too.
