You might also like David Cronenberg's eXistenZ and Videodrome.
After first few minutes of Videodrome I was checking the Wikipedia to make sure it was made in 1983. Honestly, it was ahead of time even if it was made in 2003.

If you want something more modern, try Psycho-Pass or steins;gate. You might really want to wait about 8 episodes for steins;gate to really go all out.
For live action try Shin Godzilla, Confession of Murder(Korean), Natural Born Killers, Snowpiercer(Korean) and seriously Ender's Game.

I'm still thanking my friend who recommended Ender's Game cause I simply dismissed it as some young adult adaptation movie flop. Boy I was wrong! It did feel only an inch away from being a flawless masterpiece and then I learnt a small but important plot point in the book that was left out of the movie which would have made it perfect.
