To add to this, being an example proves to carry a lot of weight because no matter what we say to our children to aid them to be better than we are they are going to do what they see us do. Unfortunately they do not understand the back ground on why we as parents do what we do so their imitation will come with a lot less wisdom and depth. Perhaps sharing our misfortunes (no matter how hard that can be) and setting the example seems to be good tools for our children to use. Because if they understood why we behave the way we do perhaps that would not copy us.
