Випадковий пітчинг — Sudden pitching

Доброго ранку, шановна спільното!

Так, ну що... Я майже все поправила. А головний прикольний знаєте, в чому? Вчора переписувалася з одним зі своїх рекламодавців. Ну, давайте умовно їх так назвемо. З видавництвом Мрієлов, воно нове, нещодавно зʼявилося, і вони мені відправляли книгу на колаборацію. Переписувалися бо я їм писала, що я відпрацювала, і буду рада співпрацювати з ними знову за першої ж нагоди. Коротше, напрацьовують собі клієнтську базу. І якось ми так зачепилися язиками, що я почала розповідати про свою книгу. Слово за слово, вони попросили скинути логлайн. Відбулося в нас те, що називається elevator pitch. І я сказала, що можу, якщо вони хочуть, скинути синопсис. і що ви думаєте? Хочуть, в мене є запит на синопсис! Тому сьогодні дороблю презентацію, скину одразу з презентацією, щоб одразу їм і підсвітили свої сильні сторони. Ну а що, це одразу підстраховка на випадок, якщо на основному пітчингу не буде запитів на мій рукопис.

Прочитала я це повідомлення сьогодні зранку, і дуже здивована, що я майже не нервую. Мала б. Але ні. Просто сьогодні завершу редагування презентації і надішлю. Спокійно, без нервів. Це вже робоча атмосфера, треба звикати. Ще трошечки поправлю текст, і його теж надішлю вже до основного пітчингу. З блогом теж все йде, як треба, вже майже 8500, тож цілком є шанси, що буде 9 тисяч до пітчингу. Все добре.

Взагалі я в шоці, яка я спокійна. Спокійно допрацьовуємо, спокійно робимо все, що треба. Звісно хріново сплю і хріново їм, бо геть без вибриків моя нервова система не може. Але зрештою я набагато спокійніша, ніж я очікувала. Все добре, все просувається, як треба. Крок за кроком. Але все ж після пітчингу треба буде взяти тиждень відпочинку, бо кукухер ту-ту:)

Yes, well... I've almost fixed everything. And you know what the main funny thing is? Yesterday I corresponded with one of my advertisers. Well, let's call them that. With the Mrielov publishing house, it's new, it appeared recently, and they sent me a book for collaboration. We corresponded because I wrote to them that I had worked hard, and I would be happy to cooperate with them again at the first opportunity. In short, they are building up a client base. And somehow our tongues got so tangled that I started talking about my book. Word for word, they asked me to drop the logline. We had what is called an elevator pitch. And I said that if they want, I can drop the synopsis. And what do you think? They want it, I have a request for a synopsis! So today I'll finish the presentation, drop it right along with the presentation, so that they can immediately highlight my strengths. Well, this is just a safety net in case there are no requests for my manuscript at the main pitching.

I read this message this morning, and I'm very surprised that I'm not nervous at all. I should be. But I'm not. I'll just finish editing the presentation today and send it. Take it easy, no nerves. This is already a working atmosphere, you need to get used to it. I'll correct the text a little more, and I'll send it to the main pitching. Everything is going well with the blog too, it's almost 8,500 already, so there's a good chance that there will be 9,000 before the pitching. Everything is fine.

I'm actually shocked at how calm I am. We're finishing up the work calmly, doing everything we need to do calmly. Of course, I'm sleeping like crap and eating like crap, because my nervous system can't do without its antics. But in the end, I'm much calmer than I expected. Everything's fine, everything's progressing as it should. Step by step. But still, after pitching, I'll have to take a week off, because the cuckoo is here:)
