Yes yes yes, all this is so true, we really donot give our kids the respect they deserve. We need to trust them in their learning and stop ourselves from always wanting to step in.
There is so much pressure from people for children to achieve some things by a certain age, I have had many a conversation about those expectations, all children are different had can you seriously expect them to all learn the same. Ah it leaves no room for individuality, something that we need to nurture and encourage. We need to stop taking away their freedom and passion for learning.I fee so strongly about all you have talked about here. I'm so glad we are on the same page.
