So on your Instagram account page (on the S2S website) you now have :
- "Your Account is verified"
- Status : Active
Like that :
If yes, you now just have to post on your Instagram account with the hashtag #share2steem somewhere in the post and it will be automatically posted on Steemit.
If it doesn't work, please give me the link to the Instagram profile of your friend, and I will check what went wrong.

OK, it seems our app isn't authorized to post on behalf of your friend.
You can look here https://steemd.com/@ilpiccoloverde and see that share2steem isn't in the authorized apps list.
Maybe he revoked the token manually ?
Or maybe there was a problem in the login process (maybe he logged in during HF20 or something like that).
The best would be for him to just log again (by clicking on Log In with another account) to the Share2Steem website so that the authorization is given to us again (his account will still be verified, etc... he won't have anything else to do).
Once he has logged in again, you will be able to verify that it worked by going to this page https://steemd.com/@ilpiccoloverde again and see if share2steem is now in the list of the authorized apps.
If it isn't then, tell me.
Ok, I followed the instructions and it worked!!!! I'm so happy. Just so you know I think all I really had to do was click deactivate and then click activate. If that sounds at all feasible to you then that was the fix because I signed in under @ilpiccoloverde to do this I believe.
Yes you just had to log in again.
I don't know why the first log in didn't provide us with the authorizations but I think it might be due to HF20, there were a few hours when SteemConnect was down, and you might have logged in at that time (bad luck).

it's the "killer app" for steemit. I've been dreaming about it for a long time. Il Piccolo Verde will prob post everyday. It would be nice to get some votes and earn some steem too.

V1 is going to be deployed in a few days, relaunching the curation trail and the @share2steem votes, so votes should come back really soon, making rewards on posts made via our application higher in number and in value.
We will also be fully focused on obtaining delegations to fulfill our promise of "monetizing traditinal social medias".
I saw the curation trail but I'm already a member of another one that takes most of my votes. I wonder how that could work?
The Curation Trail will have two axis. You will be able to choose between two ways of trailing :
This way you could stay with your current curation trail, and just choose to give one vote a day to the pool, but after this daily vote, you'll need to recover some VP before going back to your other trail (depending on the VP threshold you defined for this other trail). Or you could also choose the "classic trail" and share your votes between the two trails (depending on your Voting Power at the moment).
In either case, to benefit from both trails, you'll need to participate in either one of them. And it will be proportionnal, the more you give, the more you receive.
