Has UPtober Started for Ethereum? $ETH Analysis and Thoughts – October 1, 2025

in #uptober8 days ago

Ethereum is trading at $4,305, up nearly 4% today, and just like with Bitcoin, the question is on everyone’s mind: Has UPtober started for ETH as well?

Looking back at earlier posts, Ethereum had a strong run into mid-September, topping near $4,850, before entering a correction that brought it as low as $3,950. In my TA updates last week, I pointed out the importance of holding the $4,000 zone, and so far, ETH has respected that level perfectly. The recent bounce suggests bulls are not ready to give up control.

Key Observations

  • Support Held: The $3,950–$4,000 support zone has proven solid, sparking this week’s recovery.
  • Resistance Ahead: ETH now faces resistance around $4,350–$4,400. A breakout here would set the stage for another retest of $4,600 and potentially $4,800.
  • Volume Support: The latest move up has been backed by stronger trading volume, hinting at renewed bullish conviction.

Has UPtober Started for ETH?

  • Bullish Case: If ETH can maintain above $4,200 and push through $4,400, momentum could carry it toward $4,600–$4,800 quickly, confirming that UPtober is underway.
  • Bearish Case: If $4,200 fails to hold, we might revisit the $4,000 support before any attempt higher.

Final Thoughts

Compared with Bitcoin, Ethereum looks slightly stronger in the short-term bounce, already reclaiming its critical support level and pushing toward resistance with good volume. The macro picture (FED meeting next week) will likely decide if ETH can break out or if we see another round of consolidation.

📊 Outlook: With $4,000 holding firm and buyers stepping back in, Ethereum seems ready to ride the UPtober narrative. The next key test will be $4,400 — if that level breaks, the path to $4,600–$4,800 is open.

Do you think ETH breaks $4,400 in the first week of October, or will UPtober for Ethereum need more time to heat up?
