Nature’s Sweet Gift | How to clean raw honey at home using muslin cloth | Collecting and Cleaning Wild Honey
Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh,
Welcome to another beautiful and natural vlog on my steemit l Yousaf Haroon Khan Vlog. Today’s video is about something very sweet and special — something gifted to us by nature itself — wild honey.
Let me take you on a real journey from the forest to our home, where we collected pure honey directly from the trees, cleaned it with our own hands, and stored it for long-term use. This vlog is not just about showing the process, but also about sharing the joy and excitement we all felt while doing it. So, let’s begin.
It started when we noticed a large bee hive on one of the tall trees near our village land. The bees had built their home in a peaceful spot, surrounded by greenery. We could see from far away that the honeycomb was big and full of honey. This was not from any farm — it was pure wild honey, naturally made by bees from the flowers and trees of our forest.
I’ve always been interested in natural things like this. It’s not every day that we get to experience nature so closely. So, I decided to get that honey harvested safely and properly. i was very much excited but i was not expert to harvest the honey .
i know that climbing trees and removing wild hives can be risky, i contacted a local honey hunter . He came the next morning, fully prepared with smoke tools and protective clothing.
We paid him 2000 Pakistani rupees for harvesting honey , and honestly, it was worth it. it was not easy. The bees were active, dangerous , angry and the tree was tall. But the honey hunter did a fantastic job, cutting the honeycomb gently and bringing it down safely. We were all watching this exciting process but could not recordi it for you to see in this video. becasue we were hide in room , haah
but i recorded all process video after harvesting the honey ,
Once the honeycomb was cut and brought home, the whole house was filled with the sweet smell of fresh honey. It was golden in color, thick in texture, and very pure. The best part is — this honey is free from any chemicals or artificial processing. It’s 100% organic, straight from the trees.
We all tasted it immediately — my children, my family, even the close neighbors came to take a look. Everyone loved the taste .It was much sweeter and richer than store-bought honey.
Now let me explain an important step that many people ignore , how to clean raw honey. When you collect honey directly from the honeycomb, it also contains wax, bee parts, dust, and sometimes small wood pieces from the hive. You can’t eat it just like that.
First, we broke the honeycomb into small pieces using clean hands.
Then we took a muslin cloth — this is a fine cotton cloth that allows honey to pass through but holds back the wax and dirt.
We placed the cloth over a wide bowl and slowly poured the crushed honeycomb into it.
Over time, the pure honey started dripping through the cloth into the bowl below.
This video is not just a vlog , it’s an experience I wanted to share with you. From finding the honey in the forest, calling the honey hunter, watching the hive being cut, bringing it home, cleaning it carefully, and finally storing it ,it was a full journey.
I know many of you live in cities and don’t get to see this kind of natural lifestyle. That’s why I always try to bring you close to our village life, our traditions, and the pure things we still enjoy here.
The best part of the day was when we all sat together and enjoyed the honey. The kids loved it, especially with roti and paratha. My mother even made some herbal tea using the honey. In our culture, religion honey is not just food , it’s medicine. It helps with sore throat, boosts energy, and is great for the skin too.
My great mother used to say, “Pure honey is shifa (healing).” And after tasting this one, I completely agree with her.
In this video, you will see
How to clean raw honey at home using muslin cloth
How to store honey for long-term use
And finally, how to enjoy this sweet blessing with your loved ones
This vlog is both informative and entertaining, especially if you love nature, organic food, or want to see real village traditions.
