when people talk about songs that lift spirit most of the time they mean happy beats or dance music that make u jump on ur feet.. but honestly for me it works different. i always feel more calm n more strong when i listen to those sad but soulful tracks. they dont hide pain they just embrace it.. and somehow when i hear them it feels like someone understands me

One of my fav is Aise Juda Hua
first time i heard this song it felt like my own story.. like the singer is talking what my heart cudnt say. the lyrics are full of seperation and loss but still it never breaks me.. instead it gives me peace.. it tells me its ok to be sad coz sadness is also part of life and we have to accept it if we want to heal

Channa Mereya

Second song i never get tired of is Channa Mereya
every line of this song hits deep.. its painful yet so beautiful. i remember once i was really down n i just put this song on repeat and slowly i felt lighter.. it reminds me even if love doesnt stay forever the feelings we had still mean something and that gives a strange kind of strength

Saiyaara

Then there is Saiyaara
this one is like a breeze on a hot heavy day. it talks about distance and longing but the melody makes me calm everytime. it tells me that even if people go away love and memories still stay close inside us. it makes me close my eyes and just breathe easy

🎶 so for me music is not only about fun or noise.. it is a therapy.. a silent friend. even if a song makes me cry for a while it also heals my soul after. these songs lift my spirit not by hiding the pain but by showing me im not alone in it
