Little Fishermen

 

• Tim...

 

Tim was five year old and he knew what he is going to do when he is grown up. He lived with his mother and grandparents in a little fishermen village. He could remember his childhood very well and it is always had memories of being with his father at his boat and he was helping to get out fishes that he father caught. What Tim likes to go is to play with fish, he often secretly taken small fish and put it in bucket with water, he liked to watch how the fish was swimming.

One day, it was stormy weather and not many went into stormy sea but father of Tim wanted to get some fish so that he could sell and buy some presents for coming Christmas. That evening was very long. Tim was waiting for his father but he never arrived that evening. Tim then decided to go to sleep and in the morning to see his father returned with some fishes.

When Tim got up in the morning, he still was not able to find his father. His mother was in the kitchen with his grandparents and they were all very sad. When he asked if father arrived he was told that sea has taken his father and he will not come back.

Tim knew that could happen and some people will never return but he was told that this is what people of village sometimes pay for the Power of Sea so that they could keep fishing, that is why he was sad but he knew that papa is not in the kingdom of King of the sea.

 

• Little Fisherman...

 

One day when Tim turned 16 years old he went to his mother and said that he want to continue the work of his father. The mother was very touched and cried. Tim, reassured his mother, he said that he is not going to sea but he is going to help to clean fish that other fishermen will bring back to harbour.

When he arrived to harbour he met friends of his father, he told his idea and all fishermen immediately accepted him as part of their team. They needed someone who would do that job because after coming back with caught fishes they were exhausted and wanted just to have some rest. Tim was full of energy and he was able to do his job very well. After couple of months he was very well known not only by fishermen but also by the people of village and they all loved Tim. People always compared him to his father, that made him very proud and he really enjoyed it. But for future he had more plans he wanted to be the best fishermen of the village like his father.
