Humanitarian aid for Venezuela

in #venezuela7 years ago

Receive all and all the most cordial and sincere greetings, today I want to touch a sensitive and delicate point that is becoming a controversial issue in the international arena. I want to give my point of view as a person who lives and suffers every day from within the current crisis in Venezuela, no matter if the government calls me a traitor to the homeland or if the opposition is upset, the same is true, clear and impartial according to my own experiences, although only a summary not to make an article too long, but I hope it is enough to give a clear point of view to those who still have doubts whether or not Venezuelans need humanitarian aid.

An undeniable crisis

For a long time now we have become sad news for the international community despite the fact that not everything that happens here is made public because the government in power has been in charge of silencing the media. From the official point of view, the crisis is generated by the attempt to overthrow the government and promoted from the United States. From the opposing point of view, the crisis is due to the bad management of the government, waste and corruption because according to them they have plundered the goods of the nation, what I try to highlight is that both sides recognize the existence of an economic and social crisis in the country.

In my own experiences I have seen things that have nothing to do with human rights, in the main hospital of the state in which I live at least 15 children die a month from malnutrition, when my wife gave birth if it had not been for the money obtained in this platform would have been impossible to provide a quiet delivery because there are many women who lose their children in hospitals for lack of care, It's also worth mentioning that medicines are difficult to get and when you do the money is not enough for much, I still need to give an injection to my girl which is worth 170USD when the minimum wage in the country does not even reach 20USD. This is about health and just mentioning what's going on in my state because national numbers should be part of a horror movie.

As for food, every day is more difficult to put a decent dish on the table because these not only devoured the salary in VES but also the USD has begun to devalue in our country, if before I could buy 1kg of cheese with 2USD now I need 10USD to buy the kg of cheese, traders set the price that seems best and there is no one to correct them, NO GOVERNMENT. It seems that this government only cares for the welfare of the military high command who do not lack anything.

I don't want to mention crime, but I'll just say that we have more deaths every day than countries at war.

So being a country with so many riches we are going through this terrible crisis, recently I heard say that Venezuela has no need to beg anything to other countries, I do not understand how a person can say this when there are millions of Venezuelans who have left the country in search of solidarity in other countries to have a little relief and be able to send some welfare to their families inside Venezuela.

Humanitarian aid

If you type Venezuela in the google search engine in the images section, the result of the search will be our beautiful landscapes that we have in abundance, the images will be of protests, crisis and the alarming situation that the country is living, after everything I have seen and mentioned I can say that not only do we need humanitarian aid, It is not only a necessity, it is an emergency case, however as many think and I am sure they are right, I would not like the title humanitarian aid to be a mask for a military intervention in the country, for a long time I have been watching with great concern that they want to repeat in Venezuela what happened in Syria. We need humanitarian aid but not military intervention. With regard to a military intervention, I prefer not to express an opinion for or against it, since in order to refer to the subject I would have to write a complete article with undeniable proof as to whether it is necessary or not. For now, I would like the Venezuelan military to leave their state of comfort to feel sorry for a people who are suffering.
