What a weird day I have today in Venezuela, a day when I notice that the price of the official dollar is above 120 bolivars per dollar, while the price of the parallel dollar is around 115 BSV.
That is quite rare, because what I usually see is that the price of a good in the parallel market (black market or illegal market) is greater than in the legal market. So I don't understand what has happened today.
With the exchange differential between the official market and the parallel market, there has been a tangle of people who took benefits for the exchange differential, and the large-scale manipulation of the market for exchange control… And I do not understand what they are playing today.

Qué día tan raro tengo hoy en Venezuela, un día en que noto que el precio del Dólar Oficial está por encima de 120 bolívares por dólar, mientras que el precio del Dólar Paralelo está rondando los 115 Bs.
Eso es bastante raro, porque lo que suelo ver es que el precio de un bien en el mercado paralelo (mercado negro o mercado ilegal) es mayor que en el mercado legal. Así que no entiendo bien qué ha sucedido hoy.
Con el diferencial cambiario entre el mercado oficial y el mercado paralelo, ha existido todo una maraña de gente que sacó beneficios por el diferencial cambiario, y la manipulación a gran escala del mercado por el control cambiario… Y no entiendo a que están jugando el día de hoy.
