SC-S26W6/ Video Recommendations and export.

I just wished this tutorials could continue. Unfortunately, it's coming to an end as this is the 6th week. Anyways, our tutor did us good by coaching us throughout the 5 weeks of continuous learning, corrections, suggestions and improvements. It's not that easy to teach someone video editing using a month, but she did it. Kudos to her. For this week, I'll end my post in a different and unique way. I'll be sharing the application of all that I learnt in my video.

Since the task given was basically on sharing our blog life and also promoting our page and encouraging users to follow us, I decided to share a tip to bring viewers and make users follow my blog for more updates.

SC-S26W1/ Video editing, getting started [The New Project and Aspect Ratio Tools]

For this week, I was just getting started into understanding certain tools in video editing. How to add videos and pictures from gallery and also precut before adding them to the work page. These are screenshots of how I added my pictures and videos to creating a new project for week 6. Aspect ratio was also a big part of this week as it's necessary to know how your post appears

To start my text video editing, my videos needed to be arranged. It was just few clips though. So I made use of the ASPECT RATIO tool to give my videos and pictures a good alignment and format. I choose 16.9 as the standard landscape format out of all.

I had to adjust the overlay videos by dragging them out to fill the blank space. After doing that, I aligned the videos and overlay pictures together.

SC-S26W2/ Video Editing: [Split, Cut, Sort and Duration]

After aligning my videos perfectly, I decided to work on my duration as I added a couple of videos and overlays which made it 4:30 minutes. My duration was almost 5 minutes. The rules demanded it must not be less than 1 minute and more than 3 minutes. I decided to use the Split - Cut - Delete — Adjust tool. This tool helped me to remove parts that are not necessarily needed in a video and to adjust my pictures too, in cases where they are too long. This is shown in the video where i had to cut some parts in my overlays, so that the pictures won't appear forever.

I did both splitting and adjusting for videos and pictures. But another tool which is part of the split helped me. It's the speed feature. This helped me reduce the duration by making a video move faster. The medias I made fast were... It adjusted the timeframe for me from 4 minutes to 3 minutes.

SC-S26W3/ Video Editing; Introduction to Audio in CapCut [Volume, sounds, audio, Voiceovers]

I didn't silence the sounds in all my videos as I needed my audience to hear what I was saying. I made use of the noise removal tool seen in Capcut Pro version. Allowing these background sounds would make the video lousy and repulsive to viewers. I added audio which the source is indicated below.

The audio I added was balanced using the volume button so as to create that balance in-between sounds. I wanted my voice to be heard more than the audio. Audio addition is just to keep the video engaging. This is the link to the song I downloaded for my audio. From audio — Sounds — Device — Search button — Add.

	Audio

I made use of the volume and split too for my audio to make the sound balance with, voiceovers and music. My video sound, 100 and music sound, 100. I ensured my volume and pitch balanced with the music in the video. These two sounds had to be balanced. Afterwards, was addition of overlays and the use of animations and transitions.

SC-S26W4/ Transitions, animations and visual effects

I also made use of the Effects and Animations in the text tool. This helped darken the text and gave it this lemon and orange colours seen in the video and pictures. I made use of a few templates in the text section too. I made sure that the animations didn't appear more often so as not distract my viewers from the message I was passing through.

Adding overlays was a big part of my video. 60% of the video was mostly overlay. I thought to myself, most of my videos and pictures are in portraits because of how my phone was set. I couldn't hold it in landscape and at the same time work. To make every clip rhyme with the 16.9 landscape ratio, I used overlays to fill in the blank spaces.

	Animations

**I made use of the adjust tool where I had to improve the clarity of my video. Since I'm using the pro version of the app, I could improve the HD quality of my video to make it sharp but I didn't have the patience to wait for it to load.

SC-S26W5/ Texts and Subtitles

Before and after the edits, texts were used to beautify the videos and pictures. I made use of sticker arrows to draw attention which is under the text icon to place as a guide to viewers so that they'll know what I'm talking about.

SC-S26W6/ Recommendations and video export.

I used the 1080p in exporting my video so that the quality of clarity can be kept intact. I would recommend Capcut use for video editing as other applications are good though but can't be compared to Capcut. CapCut needs lessons to navigate, but has everything you would need if you want to do a professional video.

I would love to learn the following on CapCut

• Use of if transitions to make creative clothes changing effects.

• How to use Capcut to make creative zoom reverse videos as I do see on Tiktok.

• How to use the mask tool effectively?
