Driving up to the mountains
This was last Friday, we planned to do this mountain drive, it was just a day plan so we had quite a few things to carry because up there absolutely nothing is available. The main thing to carry was lots of water bottle and some food for on the way. Till a certain distance there are gas stations on the way and there we can get things but once starting to climb up the mountain then absolutely nothing. By the way, we did not trek, it was a drive. Trek, I would have loved to, but for that we need more time and better planning. This was a last minute morning plan and we took off.
As we drive up the weather gets better and the views as well
That's on reaching the top, the view of the valley below
Someone has put up a tent out there on the edge of the cliff. It feels a little scary to me going down till there in the first place, but I am guessing that there must be some path from the other side.
I love these views and the whole environment. It's all quiet up here, there are not many people, there are no vehicles, no shops, restaurants or anything, it's just nature and me and the silence.
These are really some soulful moments for me, we spent couple of hours up there, and after sunset started our descent back. It takes around 45 minutes to get down, and after that it's a straight road of around 2 hours back home. So in all a journey of 6 hours. By the time I reached home, I was tired and I was happy also.

@nainaztengra, what a fantastic escape! Your mountain drive looks absolutely breathtaking. The photos perfectly capture the serenity and majesty of that valley view. I especially love the shot of the lone tent perched on the cliff's edge – so daring! It sounds like a perfect way to recharge, surrounded by nature and silence. I can almost feel the peace just looking at those images. That last-minute decision really paid off! Thanks for sharing these soulful moments and inspiring us with your adventure.
