banter i think is acceptable but you need to know peoples limits, ie different cultures have different levels tolerances imo, but to play it safe its better not to be rude at all unless you know you are on the same level,
but Bullying as a whole is a big NONO!! the amount of people i have heard of just locally (Scotland) who have taken their lives from the effects of Cyber bullying is scary.
It is a psychological torture, in some cases worse than physical bullying because it can reach you in your safe zone with family at home when you are at your happiest or at your lowest,
We all have phones nowadays so we can see what is being said as and when it is being said,
i am glad i am older i was bullied when i was at school i would hate to think of the nasty crap that could of been posted over social media, it just makes the term divide and Conquer a lot easier nowadays for the bullied to be victimized by a larger group,
people in general are so quickly to judge on statements made apposed to facts,
a prime example is Islamophobia no this is going slightly off topic but the basis is still the same, we bully the Islamic community because our media paint a picture of the actions of extremist, and because a few mess up we punish the majority. the amount of Muslim people/children that have been bullied in regards to being miss informed is scary, but that is an example i am in no way a terrorist sympathizer, just to make that absolutely clear as i have been pulled up by narrow minded people in the past for stating my views on the bullying of the Muslim community,

but yes Bullying must stop i agree wholeheartedly .
