you speak about so many thinks in one small post! we have the fermi paradox, we have our stugle to be a type 1 civilisation finally (i think carl sagan said we are about to 0.7 now), and ofcorse our deper
fear/wish to meet aliens.
so, i think if that is true then is probably a reason we dont know. i think a type 3 civilation can see much more further than us or even predict our actions with ways we cant even imagine so maybe is for ours best interst to dont know yet. all that asuming that alien type 3 civilation is friendly to other life forms! 😀
have you read about the hypothesis of non engage?
like we do with tribs at amazonio jugle forest. we dont contact them for their own good thats why aliens dont contact us. for our own good 😁
or after all maybe it s very hard for a life form to develop brain.
brain needs a lot of energy and it is not good for survival in eaely stages

    Yes, I have heard about non-engagement and that was the inspiration behind this post. We do not interfere in the evolution of animals and tribes that are isolated from our human world and maybe the aliens are doing the same tot us!
