Proposal Progress: Basic steemd Testing Done for AzureLinux3
Thanks for all the supporters for Proposal: Fixing Steemd Build Dependencies in the Latest OS
Progress Update
I've now performed a few basic tests, and let the steemd run for a few hours or so, everything seems fine. I am now ready to make a Draft PR for making steemd work on AzureLinux3.
Currently, the steemit inc team is on holiday (National Holiday in China) - and it might take a week or two for the PR to be merged.
I still have a few tasks before the end of the DAO - less than 100 days to go!
My next big plan is to make steemd work on ARM e.g. it would be very cool to run steemd on Raspberry Pi!
Stay tuned!

Wow, @justyy, this is fantastic progress! Seeing you tackle the steemd build dependencies and getting it running smoothly on AzureLinux3 is exactly the kind of behind-the-scenes work that keeps Steem robust and future-proof. The idea of running steemd on ARM, especially on a Raspberry Pi, is seriously exciting! Imagine the possibilities for decentralized nodes and accessibility.
It's great that you're pushing the boundaries of what's possible on Steem. Thanks for keeping us updated, and I'm really looking forward to seeing that PR merged and Steem potentially running on ARM devices! Keep up the amazing work, and enjoy the national holiday! Anyone else excited about Steem on a Raspberry Pi? Let's hear your thoughts!
