To ensure smooth network discovery and reliable connectivity, seed nodes are essential for the Steem blockchain. These nodes hold the full blockchain data, sync with the chain, and allow new servers to connect and stay updated. They're a lightweight version of nodes, with one main function: helping other nodes get data to stay current with the blockchain.

After running the witness node : kafio.wit, I am now running a seed node : seed.steemhub.tech:2001, contributing to Steem’s decentralized network. As I continue to learn, my next step is to launch an API node to further support the ecosystem.

  • Steemit Notification Saver – Helps users efficiently manage and store important notifications.

  • SteemHub – A platform showcasing my Steem-based projects, fostering discovery and engagement.
