Could be. A lot of us are still committed to it and are trying to get the utility and the price up through various efforts.
I think we could soon have really bigger problems.. the price continues falling until most witnesses can't afford the servers any longer..

Most people lose. Economy is fucked, like the real one..
The new mira-enabled nodes require much smaller servers and are very cost effective. Witnesses will be able to afford to run them and their backups.
Even at .06 price?
Yes. The new configuration allows for a witness at about 6gb. This is exponentially smaller than the previous configuration that required either a 64gb server or a smaller server with some customization. We're talking something that now costs an average of $50/month to run and that's being on the high side. We're not talking big money here. It's the average cost of a normal hobby.
