The advanced search feature is something I've really wanted as well. I opened a GitHub issue for it a few months back. I'm sure it will get implemented eventually, but I don't know how high it is on the official dev's priority list. If any of the community developers want to tackle it, it would be a great improvement!
Thanks @timcliff for the link. Yeah I agree, this would be a very useful feature. Hope someone could tackle it.
