In my own opinion, i think this is a misconception from your perspective, i have lost count of times i have been upvoted by women. I even came to a conclusion recently that it is easier to get upvoted by women on steemit than by men.
Try to interact with them and comment on their posts, you will see how well they will appreciate you with upvotes.
thank you very much for your observation. It is fun because I have experienced exactly the contrary. I upvoted posts and comments from females and never got an upvote back.
Maybe it is because those upvoting you aren't really females :D.
