Haste makes waste! Coprinus comatus breaks stereotypes.

Haste, this word and this action sound like a movie tone, after all, many of us were taught from childhood to do everything slowly, and this was reflected in proverbs like: "Haste makes waste," "Haste is only needed when catching fleas," "Slow and steady wins the race," and many other examples that cast those who hurry in a less-than-favorable light.

But, in reality, these proverbs are akin to legislation that protects only a select few, leaving the rest of the population defenseless.

Yes, these hills can tell a lot about those who came up with them, for example, that they had very little knowledge of ichthyology and mycology, at the very least. LOL.

You've probably seen or tasted the contents of cans labeled "Tuna"?

Or maybe you've eaten sushi by the ounce.

So, when eating this fish, you need to freeze it quickly, as if you're not careful, the flesh will spoil very quickly.

In the world of mushrooms, there are also some special species that simply require you to hurry if you want to enjoy them. One such mushroom is the edible mushroom Coprinus comatus.

The mycelium of this mushroom grows very actively on warm manure piles, and this mushroom is called a dung cap. Since this mushroom is white, it's also called the white dung cap.

Although the mushroom grows in not very kosher soil, it is edible, but you need to hurry, as only young mushrooms, when their gills and caps are white, can be eaten.

Old mushrooms are not edible; they develop toxins harmful to the human body, and their only use in old age is as raw material for ink.

Yes, in the old days, ink was made from these mushrooms.

But things aren't so simple with young mushrooms either.

If you find these mushrooms and decide to cook something with them, shift your transmission into sixth gear and hurry home, as within an hour the mushroom will begin producing the same harmful toxins.

This is precisely the case when you shouldn't believe those who say there's no need to rush!
