I want to become a beekeeper! - Issue #11 - Collectivism of the beehive system :)
In any business, and beekeeping is no exception, a person wants to be original, for example, to try some special hive system and there is nothing wrong with that, as it seems. but. there are some pitfalls in this.
As a rule, when a beekeeper buys bee colonies, or bee packages, he buys them on frames of a certain size and, as a rule, beekeepers in a certain area have already developed common traditions of keeping bees and their hive systems allow exchanging frames with wax foundation, as in Dadan hives.
But if you decide to replace a Root hive with a narrow high frame, then there may be problems with finding bee packages on such frames.
Therefore, the most reliable option would be when you or I know well what hives are in the area and, based on this, we can focus on the hive system we need.

My thoughts on beekeeping
I want to become a beekeeper! - Issue #1 - Nuances of the start.
I wonder why everything is made difficult these days. My father was a beekeeper, we drowned in the honey (my god I still hate honey not the bees) and there wasn't much thoughts about it.
I love the photo.
A great, creative Sunday/week

There are many marketing moves in the beekeeping market now that beginner beekeepers are led by, but, as a rule, over time, they turn to the well-forgotten technology of our grandfathers.
I am a p-thousands of years my grandfather easily removed 50 kg of honey from a hive on volcanic wastelands, where there are quite a few honey plants :)
I also can not say that I am a fan of honey as such, but if business can be sweet... then why not? :)
Thanks for the support, I already began to think that I ended up on an uninhabited island or became invisible :)

It's okay, I understand that people are busy, it's just that sometimes my jokes look sad :)
Thanks again!
