The insidious Paxillus involutus or brown roll-rim
The insidious Paxillus involutus or brown roll-rim.
It is no secret that for mushrooms to appear in the forest, favorable conditions must come for them, for example, it must rain, the air temperature must rise and then, after a couple of days, you can go into the forest for mushrooms.
But, sometimes, this does not work, or works very strangely.
You can walk many kilometers through the forest and not see mushrooms, although the characteristic mushroom smell is present in the forest.
And so, the mushroom picker, who did not find mushrooms there, stumbles upon a beautiful mid-sized and quite weighty mushroom, which by its appearance screams: Pick me!
Paxillus involutus or brown roll-rim, seems to live by other laws of the mushroom kingdom and even when there are no other mushrooms in the forest, this mushroom can be found everywhere.
This mushroom has a rather pleasant smell and it is not surprising, because until 1984 this mushroom was considered edible and suddenly it moved to another category, and it became not only inedible, it was designated as a poisonous mushroom.
And if the mushroom picker has missed this news since then, the mushroom will not tell him about it and this is the main insidiousness of this poisonous mushroom.
