“Competition 89 - Landscape”

Greetings friends! I hope you are fine as I am. I am honoured to participate in this week's contest titled “Competition 89 - portrait”. I appreciate @xpilar for organising and sustaining this contest. Below are the details of my landscape.

Materials For Drawing

• Plain A4 paper
• Pencils
• Eraser
• Sharpener
• Brush
• Ruler

Step 1
I began by measuring the size of my drawing space, which is 7.5 inches by 9.5 inches, and after that, I wrote my name on the paper. Lastly, at this first step, I sketched the mountain.

Step 2
I shaded the mountain.

Step 3
I shaded the trees and shrubs around the mountain.

Step 4
I shaded more shrubs and trees around the mountain.

Step 5
I shaded trees and shrubs in the middle of the river. It is like a small Island.

Step 6
I drew stones and grasses or shrubs around and between the stones.

Step 7
I shaded the following river.

Step 8
I drew and added more features to the mountain and the flowing river at the extreme left-hand side. I also drew more grass and thickened the water flow around the small island.

Step 9
I drew the reflection of trees and shrubs right inside the river. I also drew a group of birds flying in the sky, which brought me to the end of my pencil drawing for the week.
