“Competition 93 - Landscape”

Greetings friends! How are you today? I believe you are all fine as I am. I appreciate @xpilar for organising and sustaining this contest. Today, I present to you my landscape drawing which is in line with the topic for the week.

Materials for the drawing

• Plain A4 paper
• Pencils
• Cutter
• Eraser
• Cotton wool

Step 1
I began my landscape drawing by sketching the outline of the mountains, the position of the grasses and trees, the bank of the river and the river. This step has given me a holistic view of how the landscape will look.

Step 2
I shaded the sky above using pencil powder and then used a cotton wool to blend it.

"Step 3*
Here, I shaded one of the mountains. I used a 10B pencil and then used cotton wool to blend it.

Step 4
I shaded the second mountain. I also use a 10B pencil to shade it and blend it with cotton wool.

Step 5
I shaded the grass and the trees which are between the mountain and the river. I used a 10B pencil to do the shading

Step 6
I shaded the bank of the river.

Step 7
I shaded the river and the reflection of the grasses and trees in the river.

Step 8
Here, I shaded the land and grasses across the river. I also showed the reflection of the grasses in the river. Finally, I added shading to the sky and wrote my user name on the paper.
