Hello friends! How are you today? I believe you are all fine as I am. I appreciate @xpilar for organising this contest. Considering the Theme of the week 'Competition Pencil drawing of the week "the animals", (No.84) You can win Steem', I have decided to draw a puppy and I am sure that every one of you will like it.

Materials for the drawing

• White Embossed paper
• Pencil
• Eraser
• Sharpener

Step 1
I began by drawing the head of the puppy. I first sketched the ears, the entire face, the eyes and the nose. I shaded the eyes and one side of the puppy's face.

Step 2
I shaded the second side of the face, the ears and the nose. The face of the dog is a combination of black and white. Therefore the forehead down to the mouth is white.

Step 3
I drew the body of the dog beginning from the back down to the hind leg. I proceeded by drawing the brisket, the neck and the forelegs.

Step 4
I shaded the thigh and the entire hind leg.

Step 5
I shaded the tail.

Step 6
I shaded the brisket and the chest. The chest of the puppy is white with some touches of black hair all around.

Step 7
I shaded the forelegs and the toes.

Step 8
I shaded the shadow of the dog and, lastly, wrote my name and date on the paper.
