End of Summer Season

Yesterday was the end of Summer season for us. We held one of our last swimming events on the Bosphorus this season. The temperature will now drop. We can finally look forward to sunny, warm days.

Since it was windy, we took shelter in a bay. Many boats like us were swimming there. We witnessed the magnificent views and colors at sunset.

Even though the swimming season is over, we'll be back here for coffee and a meal during the winter when the sun is shining. We loved this place and the view. Being a bay, it's sheltered from the wind. We'll be choosing this place a lot.

We anchored in front of the garden of the Mecidiye Palace, a relic of the Ottoman Empire, and spent the entire day there.

If the weather warms up again, we might hold another End of Summer event.
