I will regularly use vitamin C again to prevent myself catching Pneumonia again

I regret discontinuing my vitamin C intake due to its acidosis effect in my blood, I should have at least take some amount regularly rather than stopping it cold Turkey. The reason is my immune system or resistance went down because of it which is why I caught Pneumonia.

I don't usually catch cough or Pneumonia, the last time I got is is about 15 years ago or so. I remember the resident doctor of our church's clandestine dialysis clinic prescribed me a rather strong antibiotic. After I took 1 tablet of it, my cough subsided until I am not coughing anymore and got healed.

Now with the type of antibiotic that I am taking, it doesn't work fast compared to what I took more than a decade and a half ago. I actually told the head nurse that I want a more powerful antibiotic and she said that I just only had a day of using the prescribed antibiotic by my Hematologist so she didn't gave me a new prescription of a more powerful antibiotic.

Right now I am still having coughs and my nose if producing thin liquid and it makes me sneeze. I also have a low-grade fever at the moment and if I do not get better in the next dialysis session, I will insist for my medicine to be substituted so I can finally be healed from Pneumonia which is giving me a hard time at the moment because my eyes are teary, my vision is affected, my ribs, belly and back is already in pain for coughing and I feel feverish.

I pray to God to heal me soon because it is hard for me to endure this type of illness as it involves pain and I have a trouble sleeping plus my throat is itchy. Hopefully my resumption of using vitamin C again, Calcium ascorbate that is, a non-acidic type of vitamin C will help me recover because I already proven to myself that it really protects un from catching coughs and colds and even Pneumonia which now I regret from not getting vaccinated against. Maybe as soon as I get healed, God-willing I will get it as well as for my parents too.
