This old house will be demolished coming next week God-willing to finally make way for the construction of the new house. I am glad that we are getting assistance from my brother and my sister-in-law which makes things easier for me and my parents. I can't possibly do it on my own because of my current condition beside the fact that nobody will ever believe that I have the money to make it happen because I am like a cake with premium ingredients with a bad presentation.

The architect will going to drop by and make measurements today and then make the "drawings" afterwards which might get finished after five days or so for me to choose from. Those drawings costs a lot of money although we had gotten a discount thanks to my sister-in-law which is her role for this house project and I do thank God for her a lot because of it.

The inevitable factor for building the house was our need for elevating it from the ground because of our place's current situation when there it would rain hard. That is why the expense will be much higher compared if the house will not get elevated from the ground. For sure we will not be flooded anymore and we can breathe a sigh of relief afterwards although with regards to flooding in our town alone especially in the roads leading to my dialysis center, the situation will not change if not a lasting solution will be made which at this point is still not possible because it requires more than a ton of money considering there is still a corruption happening in the government.

In my opinion, for our town alone to get freed from floods, a dike has to be built at the sides of the river and other waterways like the irrigation canals and the a big water pumping station has to also be built in order to remove water from the drainage system of almost every Barrion of our town and into the river and irrigation canals. This has to be done in the main island especially in the provinces like ours which experience this new normal of unusual flooding plus in the capital city because the city was once a rice filed and is actually sitting below sea levels which is why its coastal part is widely affected even by high tides and affected its prosperity compared to other parts of the Metro while its other part which was once a part of our province also gets flooded very high for the reason that most of our province is also a low-lying area.

But the supposed house will remain small, just enough for a few people to live into. I am not concerned about people which will live after us, it will be their problem to maintain it or maybe build another better one of they can and right now I am just wanting to have a better home that we can safely live into without worrying that the ceiling will not drip anymore and all that concern. The size of the house will make it relatively cheaper to build comparatively and I just hope that it will fit my funds and I will have to discover how it will go after the architect finally had given us the drawings later this coming week.
