Spoons Made From Coconut Shells - "Playing photographer #3 Forks and Spoons."
In my country, we make spoons from Coconut shells and certain woods. Of course, we use them for cooking. First you get a coconut shell and cut it into size and shape you want. then you grind the shell to remove unwanted fibers and to make it smooth. Then you make a handle out of wood. don't forget to make sure that it is food-safe. traditionally people used Areca nut wood for this. now a days people use several different types of wood. After you have both the processed coconut shell and the wooden handle, all you have to do is join them together with a few aluminium nails. That's it. Now you have a spoon that is both useful and ecological. Enjoy the pictures below.
Also, because we cook with firewood, it is virtually impossible to have a spot-free wall near where we hang spoons. Thought to add that so you know. Hope you understand. Thanks.

Handcrafted, coconut and totuma shells are ideal for making these spoons. They are typically used for stirring soup. They are also widely used in Venezuela.
Thank you for joining the contest.
