Contemplation in Reykjavik: The horizon changes with who you're with

last spring
i came with him
but it felt like
i was standing here alone
in this cold Reykjavik town
with a complete stranger
the coldness
emanating from him
like his heart
is made of ice
it made me contemplate:
do i still want to walk
through this street
with him?
do i take this chance
to just walk away?
perhaps
walking among strangers
could feel warmer
than standing
next to him
The words in my head found their perfect resonance within this image. Therefore, this shall be my submission for this week's contest.
