Dugouts in Sheksninsky district. Maly Ovinets
The next village with dugouts on the outskirts is located beyond Sizma and is called Maly Ovinets. Here the cellars stand next to the road in the field.
It can be seen that the cellar town was once larger here, but only five structures remain.
I like that the dugouts in the Sheksninsky district almost always have triangular roofs.
This type is called a recessed with gable roof.
It's strange that it wasn't until two years later that I more or less figured out their classification.
Most often, the doors to the cellar, that is, the entrance to the dugout, were located to the north.
This means that the so-called facades of the cellars are very difficult to photograph during white nights, as it turns out against the light.
But it's a good thing that not all of these traditions are followed.
