The Lad
Sometime last month I wielded my lead and tried putting a figure in place. As it happens it turned out to be this young dude. I honestly couldn’t decide on how I was going to edit it so I flipped to the default. I do think though that I might have gotten a better tone if I added colour. This intuition is something I intend following up in the next few weeks so stick around.
Today was a very productive day and I got lots of reasons to smile. Well now that the sun has gone down I guess it’s time to ponder, so this is where I leave you, with this dude, pondering.

Nice work! The expression in your figure really carries a thoughtful mood. I can imagine how adding color might give it even more depth, but honestly the pencil tones already have a strong impact. Looking forward to seeing your next sketches!
