Unlocking My Ninth Slot: A New Chapter in My Cryptid Hunter Journey

Fresh off a wave of successful upgrades, I faced a new challenge: running out of room for all the powerful creatures I’d collected. With eight slots maxed out, my deck felt squeezed. Instead of settling, I decided to invest in another slot. Saving up over 2,700 NOVA took some time, but today I finally made the purchase.

The Buy Slot screen reminded me how far I’d come. It showed 8/24 slots filled, a wallet balance of 2,777.51 NOVA, and a price tag of 2,689 NOVA. Pressing Buy, I watched my hard‑earned tokens disappear, but the green check mark that appeared right after made it worthwhile. Slot unlocked—time to reorganize.

Rebuilding the Deck

Adding a ninth card let me showcase every creature that matters. My lineup now looks like this.

• Three Kernos (Unique) at levels 4 , 5, and 1, each dealing powerful strikes and mining 342.00 NOVA/day 396.00 NOVA/day and 180.00 NOVA/day respectively.

• Three Crogle (Unique)—fast birds that remain reliable at level 3, mining 234.00 NOVA/day each.

• Helios (Legendary), still the crown jewel of my collection, bringing 520.00 NOVA/day.

• Cybermong(Unique, Level 2), a cyber‑enhanced monkey wielding a glowing cannon, pulling 234.00 NOVA/day.

• Treiry (Legendary), the gentle flower spirit, steady at 520.00 NOVA/day.

With these nine cards, my attack power jumped to 5,464 and my daily mining to 2,732 NOVA.

A huge leap from the previous day’s totals.

Climbing the Leaderboard

The leaderboard update told another story. With 5,464 ATK, I climbed to rank 6.

The top three players have more than 9,000 ATK, yet being in the top 10 feels like significant progress. Smart slot purchases and regular updates really pay off.

Back to the Dungeon

I jumped back into the Basic Dungeon to celebrate. My energy bar dropped to 3.78, yet I used my new deck to quickly defeat waves of foes.

Kernos and Helios completed most of the hard work, and Cybermong and Crogle made sure my attack power was balanced between elements. Seeing those monsters work together made me remember why I enjoy this game: it's a mix of strategy, patience, and a little bit of chance.

Final Thoughts

Today's meeting was centered about opening up new possibilities. Opening a ninth slot cost a lot, but the immediate benefits in attack power and daily income make it worth it. My deck is stronger than ever, and I'm excited to see how high I can get before the next weekly pack.
