Blessed with the little things.

I consider myself very blessed - and hold enormous value to be part of a community that still knows how to slow down for life.

A place where people stop to absorb a "sunset moment" and share their pictures of it. A place where traffic comes to a halt without a second thought to relocate a tortoise walking in the middle of the road… as happened earlier today on our way to soccer practice.

I get to bake sourdough bread every day for people who value the taste of something made by hand, something carrying the weight of time and care. And when my car breaks down, it doesn’t spiral into a crisis, instead, countless hands step forward to help, offering tools, lifts, all without expecting a cent in return.

Money cannot buy what this space holds.
