Off to Farm to Gather Firewood
Hello everyone! Life is a bit tough lately, and the workplace where I go had lots of problems going through, first major materials got short and some of the production personnel also got wrong. Anyway, life must go on so here I am.
Last Sunday, I wanted to go to farm, I already set my mind but my husband got busy the whole day and I jist let him; I am even very thankful to him for working very hard even though he had to work until 10pm to referee a basketball game and a boxing tournament, and oftentimes, he gets wet by the rain along the way home.
Since we are really running out of firewood, my husband suggested I should go home early to accompany him and my mother along with our kids to the farm to get things we needed. We also had to get the corn so we could separate it from the husks and grind it for consumption, we could cook it for our food, and we also use it to feed our livestock.
When we got to the farm, my husband immediately roamed around trying to find wild mushrooms then he stumbled upon this gemilina tree and we took out our hand saw and cut them.
There were many firewood my mother and daughters prepared and the small vehicle we rode got a load of it.
Everyone was there to help, small branches for the kids and the huge ones were for us; there were many mosquito as well and I caught one on the camera, the one on my neck. There are many mosquito in the farm, perhaps because there were many coconut shells that gathered rain water when it rained and favored them to lay many eggs and multiply.
My mother complained about bees living on the roof and so my string husband came to the rescue; he cut coconut leaves and I helped him burn the bees; they are very harmful because they don't produce honey and last Saturday, my daughter had been hit thrice on the face; good thing her allergic reaction to the bee sting is not that harsh and is countered quickly by eating sugar.
I was amazed and even thankful to God that our walk had been blessed with a great weather; yesterday, the day started very gloomy; rain showers were in the morning and even on my way home, the sky displayed a dark cloud that looks like it's ready to give us a heavy rain.
It tuned out that the part where the farm was had a great weather and the surrounding areas had dark clouds, and even some of the mountains shows rain falling on them.
My entire experience was great, I had a great bonding with my family, especially my mother whom was very happy to hear my support in her chickens; I really hope that God will hear and grant my wishes for her so that she will be able to experience life that has less worrying especially on the finances.
This will be all for now, keep safe and stay happy!
