Some gouache love - paintings in gouache :)

Before I switched to watercolor, I was a gouache enthusiast. I thought it was everything. At the time, I felt it was so easy to work with and was always puzzled to see people on YouTube preface their tutorials or review videos with statements like 'gouache can be difficult to work with'. They were other comments about the pros of using gouache which include being able to rework a piece because you really can actually paint over. It's that forgiving.

Anywayyy, the thing is I painted a lot early this year and last year mainly with gouache and I used one tiny brush for a long time because I knew nothing about brushes. I really have had a slow art journey becaehe of lack of information but I'm glad for the lessons, so I'll like to share some of my gouache paintings below.
