Water Drops

Outside the entrance hall of the building where I live, are planted some shrubs with elongated and pointed leaves, in addition to a rather striking purple color, which according to what I researched on the internet would correspond to a species named Tradescantia pallida, commonly known as “Purple Heart” or “Moses in the basket”, and which usually host water droplets from the rains.

Currently in Venezuela we are in the rainy season, which usually begins in early May and ends in mid or late October, although occasionally it can extend until November, so these last weeks the weather has not been the best possible, but the presence of intermittent rain or drizzle has been constant.

A couple of days ago I took these photos where you can see drops on the bushes, product of the rains of the previous night.

As I have described in previous publications, I used the editing tools offered by Picsart and Snapseed applications to intervene the original image to my satisfaction.

Gotas de Agua

En el exterior del hall de entrada del edificio donde vivo, están sembrados unos arbustos de hojas alargadas y puntiagudas, además de un color púrpura bastante llamativo, que de acuerdo con lo que investigué en internet corresponderían a una especie nombrada Tradescantia pallida, comúnmente conocida como "Corazón Púrpura" o "Moisés en la cesta", y los cuales suelen alojar gotas de agua provenientes de las lluvias.

Actualmente en Venezuela nos encontramos en la temporada lluviosa, la cual usualmente se inicia a principios de Mayo y finaliza a mediados o finales de Octubre, aunque ocasionalmente puede extenderse hasta Noviembre, por lo que estas últimas semanas el clima no ha sido el mejor posible, sinó que la presencia de lluvias o lloviznas intermitentes han sido constantes.

Hace un par de días tomé estas fotos donde se observan gotas en los arbustos, producto de las lluvias de la noche anterior.

Tal como lo he descrito en publicaciones anteriores, usé las herramientas de edición que ofrecen las aplicaciones Picsart y Snapseed para intervenir la imagen original a mi entera satisfacción.
