I still remember you today, in the morning mist,
Memories wake up and suddenly retreat in the silent wind.
Touching my lips to a cup of tea,
I smell your smile in solitude.

On the way, with the sound of leaves rustling,
The sound of your footsteps rings in my ears.
I look up at the sky again and again,
Do you still look at me like I do?

Even today, in the raindrops,
those old words wake up, making my heart flutter.
On the pages of the book you left behind,
I don't know why I still write your name.

You are not there, but you are there in every moment,
In an invisible soul hidden behind my mind.
I couldn't even try to forget you,
Even today, your name remains with me.

A few words about poetry:-

Poetry can easily express the thoughts of the heart. What is difficult to say can be written in rhythm. That is why I write poetry, expressing my feelings, sorrows, pride or dreams through the play of words. I enjoy sharing poetry on this platform, because many people read, feel and love it here.
