The Gold Story Contest: Gold Rush

Hello my steemit friends i hope you are doing well and enjoying life. I enjoy writing and taking part in Steemit contests. It helps me share my ideas and learn from others. Today i am taking part in the contest powered by @Musagold.com and Steem. The theme is "A Story About Gold " but i will not write a story. I will only write about gold in easy English. I hope you will enjoy reading my post.
Gold is a very beautiful and shiny metals. Peoples love gold because it looks nice and does not get rusty. Gold is yellow in color and shines even in low lights. It is soft and can be shaped into many forms thats why gold is used mostly in jewelry likes rings earrings bangles and necklaces. Gold has been important to peoples for thousands of years. It is found deep under the earth and is taken out by mining. This process is hard and takes time and effort. People love gold for many reasons. One reason is that gold is valuable. Its price is high and it increases with time. Many people buy gold and keep it safe. They sell it later when they need money. In this way gold is a good investment. People trust gold more than paper money because it keeps its value. Another reason peoples loves gold is that it is beautiful when someone wears gold jewelry they looked special and feel confident. In many cultures especially in Pakistan India and other Asian countries gold is very importants during weddings and festivals.
In weddings the bride wears heavy gold jewelry. Her parents give her gold as a gift. Sometimes the groom’s family also gives gold. These gold items are not justs gifts they are also signs of loves and blessings some families keep golds jewelry for many years and give it to the next generations. For example a mother gives her gold bangles to her daughter and the daughter gives them to her children. This makes gold not just a metal but a memory of family love. Gold is also used in technology. Many people do not know that gold is used in computers mobile phones and medical machines. Gold is a good conductor of electricity. This means electricity passes through it easily. Gold is also strong and does not break or rust. That is why it is used in machines that must work very well for a long time. In this way gold is useful in modern life not only for decoration.
There are different types of gold. The most common are 24K 22K 18K and 14K. 24K gold is pure gold. It is very soft and bright. 22K gold is mixed with a small amount of another metal. It is stronger than 24K and is mostly used in jewelry. 18K and 14K gold have even more other metals. They are stronger and less expensive. People choose gold types based on their use and budget. Gold is also connected to history and culture. In old times kings and queens wore gold crowns and clothes with gold thread. They used gold coins to buy things. Even temples and mosques were decorated with gold. Gold was seen as a sign of power and respect. In many countries gold medals are given to winners in sports or competitions. This shows that gold is a symbol of success and excellence.
In today’s time the price of gold keeps changing. Many people check the gold rate daily. Some buy gold jewelry some buy gold bars or coins and some even invest in gold online. Whatever form it takes gold is still special for everyone. It is part of fashion savings history and emotion. I feels very happy to writes about gold for this contest.
