Hello my dear Steemians,

Yesterday we had our routine visit of city market, usually it takes place twice a week on Wednesday and Saturday. While we are here in Münster we try to visit it every time. We often buy some fresh stuff and while being there we also have some breakfast or like this time branch. All fish specialties are sold by German and Dutch mongers, we buy our fish stuff by Dutch and this is our favourite one "De Jong" specialties.

De Jong, family business

Here is our branch and it is called Kibbeling, that are battered fish pieces with garlic sauce. It was fresh fried and was hot and absolutely delicous.

I decided to buy Herring salad too, I was surprised that there were such big chunks of herring too. We had our salad in a transport box and luckily it arrived safe home. The taste was also very special that I really enjoyed it.

Hello @stef, it's a pleasure to meet you. That fish looks delicious, very tempting. Italy is a country I'd love to visit; it seems rich in culture, and I like the language. Hugs.

Münster es una ciudad alemana cerca de la frontera oriental de Holanda. De nada.

Yes, that is right, we usually have many visitors from Netherlands but we also visit them quite frequently :)

Actually all the food that they sell taste great, of course, the prices are different and more expensive than in supermarket but for that they catch fish themselves and prepare themselves. Yes, Italy is also one of hte country that I love to visit :)

"Wow! I felt like I was in that crowd, looking at the stalls full of fresh food and tasting hot kibbeling.

Every word reflected your taste and the soul of the place. It's posts like these that connect the world — little gems like De Jong's make for big experiences."

Yes, the food is very special, as seafood it is more popular in Northern part of country that is why we like visiting the market and taste it there.

Hey @stef1, what a delightful peek into your Münster market visit! Those photos are making me hungry – especially that Kibbeling! Freshly fried fish with garlic sauce? Yes, please! It's fantastic that you support local businesses like "De Jong" and share these culinary experiences with us. Your post is a great reminder to explore local markets and enjoy fresh, authentic food. I also appreciate your shout-out to Planet Wild! Keep sharing these gems – it's like a mini-trip to Germany with every post! What other market specialties do you recommend we try next time (besides everything you showed lol)?
