Endoscopy weekend
Hello my dear Steemians,
The week is over and if many people look forward to have weekend and enjoy the time at home, for me this weekend os once again working again. It is often like a lottery that we do not know exactly a month before which weekend we have endoscopy. This is just a waiting list and there are many colleagues who express their wishes. In my case I just give my availability and take it as it is. It is not really matter when I have to work, if I know in advance that is fine.
This week then have 7 working days for me, but then I have couple of days off. There is very complex rota of oncall weeks and it is 5 weeks. I actually write it on calendar that is on our wall, because I even myself can get mixed up. For my hubby that is also important so that we do not double book those days.
At the moment it works very well with calendar, only I need to make sure that I feel it in.
On the way to our hospital wonderful weather, blue sky and very warm for Scotland , I love the shape of the building and also the whole appearance, that reminds me wave.
This is the scope stack that we are using nowadays and almost in majority of hospitals both in UK and Germany. It is great quality of monitor that helps to see very good quality of images.
Here is the scope itself that usually we use for investigation of upper gastrointestinal tract, it is thinner and shorter. It is connected and ready for use. We had a good day, I had very good team of nurses.
